Full Circle Sketch

Demos and Rough Sketches are sometimes the rawest and most honest reflection of our feelings. When I was a kid visual art allowed me to find my voice. I was a super shy kid and making music was something I could never imagine being a possibility for me. 9 year old James would go crazy knowing that I not only write and produce music but I perform it as well. This piece which should play as perfect loop is a moment of life coming in full circle. I hope this inspires you to be the dream that you had as a kid. Everything is possible. This is also dedicated to my mom (Diane Gardin) and my dad (Dennis Gardin) who always encouraged me to live my life to the fullest.

Lyrics

Picture Perfect is t he portrait I sketch
Set my sights on the Lord to reflect
I make moves in person
I don’t want them to record my connects
I took a lot of shots
And some got block
and some were just a little short of the net
So I hit the gym and went and got my J right
and Every time J wright
They Say it’s the best they ever heard
Emotional delivery
laced with some clever words
I found my own path
I found my own lane
I promise you that I will never swerve
I am not the one to be played with
I sketched a master piece
and they try to trace it
replace it on that fake tip
My confidence they hoping they can break it
They have no chance
It’s bout time they learn to face it
Word to my moms and dad
they the reason that my face lit
