ANXIETY
The biggest obstacle to achieving anything is often your own mind. You say you can’t move somewhere, leave or create a relationship, get the dream job or business - simply because you create excuses. In reality, these excuses are all stemmed in fear, doubt and not realizing whether you truly want something. The worst of this is when you let anxieties of a situation you can’t control get the best of you.
‘Sink’ is about overcoming these anxieties. The ones that keep you up at night and cause your emotions to do your thinking for you. It’s important to realize at the end of the day, all we can do is do our best. If we go in and leave nothing on the table, we can look back at the end of the day and realize there was nothing more that could have been done. We did it all. From here begins the reduction of anxiety.
Day by day, we do what we can to chip away at what keeps us awake at night. Eventually, we pass a critical threshold where our actions have done much more work than the voices of doubt in our head. Eventually, those voices get quieter and quieter because we learn to ignore them. Eventually, we move on.
A friend of ours once told us “Anxiety is energy with nowhere to go”. With that in mind, why not take that energy and put it into something. We both have found tremendous solace in our personal lives by doing rather than by planning and thinking. By putting our hands and mind to work, we found a sense of serenity.
This is ‘Sink’ from us to you.

Creating this music video was a new experience for everyone involved. Sometimes, those are the best ways to spend time; allowing yourself the freedom to explore and try new things.
Hudson Ratzlaff was the mastermind behind all of the 3D rendering, and together we created a world that reflects the emotions of ‘Sink’. A world that is seemingly magnificent and desolate at the same time. The views and camera motions instilling a sense of grandeur.
